This week we learnt the name of the brand new waterpark currently being developed on Rhyl's Promenade. Named "SC2" it is another exciting and ambitious part of the town's redevelopment.
The £15 million leisure and visitor attraction is being built on the former skate park and Drift Park site. It is scheduled to open in 2019.
There has been much speculation surrounding the new name with memories of the Sun Centre which was demolished last year but apparently SC2 has nothing to do with Sun Centre.
